Upper Trinity rakes in awards at Texas Water Conference

Fort Worth, Texas -- During the Texas Water Conference in Fort Worth last month, Upper Trinity earned several organizational and individual awards.  

 

The Peninsula Water Reclamation Plant (Category 1) and the Doe Branch WRP (Category 2) both won Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant of the Year, Upper Trinity also received the WEAT Exemplary Employer Award and The Watermark Award for Communications Excellence.

 

 

Upper Trinity added to its haul by winning the following individual team member awards:
 
Ben Hodges | Workforce Development Award that recognizes and individual advancing workforce development programs in Texas that effectively attract, train and/or retain water sector workers.


Jody Zabolio | Winfield S. Mahlie Award that recognizes a member of WEAT who has made significant contributions to the art and science of wastewater treatment and water pollution control.


Steve McHenry | Bill Tatum Operations Excellence Award that recognizes those operators whose dedication and professionalism inspire all who work on the clean water sector.


Kaylee Waldo | Emerging Leader Award that recognizes a young WEAT member who has provided outstanding service in support of WEAT.
