Honey Grove, Texas --Kelli Leann (Braley) Barnett, 58, was born in Ladonia, TX on March 16, 1964, to Leck Braley and Jo Ann (Roberts) Braley. Kelli left this earth and went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2022, in Dallas, TX.

Kelli married her high school sweetheart, Jeff Barnett, shortly after graduating, on June 18, 1982, in Honey Grove at the First Baptist Church. The couple had two daughters, Braley and Kassidy, but many would call her Mama Kelli. Kelli had a great love for gardening and being outdoors, especially riding in the creek. She spent many long summer days in the hay field with Jeff. She often made jokes about being his “farm hand”. As long as her and Jeff were together, they were having fun. Many people in Kelli’s life would say to know her is to love her. When she walked into a room, she just commanded it. Kelli inherited many things from her father, one of them was their compassion for helping others. Kelli was inducted into the Dixie League Hall of Fame in 2008 for her dedication to coaching. Kelli was a strong fighter who protected her family in every way possible and remained that way until the end.

Kelli Barnett is survived by her husband, Jeff Barnett; two daughters, Braley Gann and husband Fillip, Kassidy Krodle and husband Dalton; grandkids, Sunni Jo, Easton, and  Riggin; mother, Jo Ann Braley; brothers, Kevin Braley, Kyle Braley and wife Jessica; sister, Kim Richards and husband Rick; mother-in-law, Mary Fields and husband Alvin; brother-in-law, Aaron Smith and wife Lisa; sister-in-law, Theresa Barnett; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and  beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her father Leck Braley and father-in-law Jimmy Barnett.
