Fannin County, Texas --  During a regular meeting of Fannin County Commissioners Court held Tuesday, May 17, 2022, the court voted to approve an "Hours 4 Hours" incentive program for Lake Fannin Volunteers.

The "Hours 4 Hours" program waives four hours of Lake Fannin Lodge rental fees for 15 hours of documented Lake Fannin Volunteers service.

"We are trying to recruit younger people," Alicia Whipple, Fannin County Auditor and Lake Fannin Board member explained at the time. "This might be a way to entice more volunteers."
