McKinney Boyd sweeps McKinney High

McKinney, Texas -- McKinney Boyd's Hannah Billeter and Avery Calame combined for 31 kills to propel the Lady Broncos to a three-set win over McKinney High School Tuesday night.

Carson Eickenloff and Ale Romo finished with five kills apiece, while Kira Thornton threw down a pair of kills and Holland Hannon had one kill.

Eickenloff doled out 33 assists to her Lady Bronco hitters and teammate Camryn Weldon handed out 11 assists.

Billeter was also a force at the service line, slipping three aces through the McKinney High defense.

Eickenloff, Romo and Hannon all had one block apiece.

Calame came up with a team-high 18 digs.

With the victory, McKinney Boyd improves to 3-1 in District 5-6A, while the loss drops McKinney High to 0-3.
