Honey Grove, Texas -- Michael Kevin Charles of Honey Grove passed away Monday, August 16, 2021.

Services will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Westside Baptist Church Honey Grove.

Family visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Rev. Terry Paul Cunningham will officiate. Interment will follow at Windom Cemetery Windom, Texas.

Kevin was born September 29, 1968, To Robert and Phyllis Charles in Paris, Texas.

He attended and graduated from Honey Grove High School. Kevin had a love for farming and ranching that was his calling in life alongside his father and grandfather for 35 years. 

Kevin enjoyed his time with his family especially the time spent raising his children. He was a devoted father very active in the childrenís FFA show projects. He served many years as a member of the Honey Grove Volunteer Fire Department and was the Director of the Dial Water Supply Corporation. 

Kevin also enjoyed fishing any chance he could.

Left to cherish Kevinís memory are his wife, Jennifer (Dudley) Charles of Honey Grove, his three children, son Ryan Charles of Honey Grove, his daughter Allison Charles of Honey Grove and son Austin Charles of Honey Grove. His parents Robert and Phyllis Charles of Honey Grove. Sister Leslie Bewley and husband Dustin of Princeton Tx. Brother-in-law Jason Dudley and wife Dianna of Frisco Tx. Nieces Melissa Bewley, Anna Bewley, Alanna Dudley, and Bella Dudley. Nephews Dakota Bewley, Harlin Bewley, and Joshua Dudley, and Aunt Elaine Tadlock.

Kevin has one to his heavenly home to be with his grandparents R.M. and Christine Charles and Demp and Georgie Epperson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Barley, Clint Brown, Shawn Fox, Michael Townes, Ted Verner, Chad Thomason, Ricky Hevron, and Glen Frazier. 

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Crag Holmes, Terry Strickland, David Strickland, and Jason Dudley.
