Fannin County office closed due to possible COVID-19 exposure

Bonham, Texas -- Tammy Biggar, Fannin County Clerk and Public Information Officer stated the County Clerk’s office at the 800 E. 2nd Street location in Bonham has had potential exposure by a visitor who has tested positive for Covid-19.  The possible exposure occurred to this office on 9/15/2020 and 9/16/2020. 

One employee is symptomatic and being tested.  Employees that manage official public records, vital statistics, DBAs, and land records will be vacating the offices until a professional cleaning is completed on Friday.

There will be two Elections deputies on site in a mobile unit to accept Ballots By Mail and Voter Registration cards.  Those deputies will also have applications available to hand out. When arriving on site voters can call 903-583-7488 to speak with the Elections Division and drop off those items.

If an agenda needs to be filed with the County Clerk’s office, please contact the probate office at City Hall at 903-640-2008.
