Bonham -- Bonham ISD is proud to welcome John Fish to our Warrior family as the new Bonham High School head football coach. Coach Fish received his Bachelor of Arts in Education with a major in History Education from the University of Central Oklahoma and started his coaching career in 2010 in Del City, Oklahoma. Coach Fish and his wife Lynzi, who is a teacher for Frisco ISD, has one son Jaxon.

Coach Fish comes to us from Lone Star High School in Frisco, Texas where he has taught and coached since 2013. He became the offensive coordinator/quarterback coach in 2016. In his time at Lone Star, Coach Fish helped lead the Lone Star Rangers to be back-to-back District 5A champions as well as a Class 5A UIL State Quarterfinalist. During his time at Lone Star, he also helped the Rangers obtain the most wins in school history, the most wins in Frisco ISD history, and set new school records in every offensive category, just to list a few accomplishments.

With great accomplishments on the field, peers of Coach Fish notice his worth off the field as well. Qualities and traits that stand out about Coach Fish are his ability to be a leader on and off the field, his ability to work well with all students, a master in relationship building with students and coaches. He is also known as a hard worker and having high moral and ethical standards that will make him a phenomenal head coach.

Join us on March 21 at 6:00 p.m. for a meet & greet for Coach Fish as we welcome him to the Warrior family. The meet and greet will be held at the Bonham Warrior Fieldhouse.
