Richardson -- Celebrate the Year of the Rooster with Japanese music, food, and fun! Try your hand at calligraphy, origami, and traditional Japanese New Year's games.

See a traditional mochitsuki (rice pounding) demonstration and sample fresh homemade mochi. Enjoy Japanese drumming, folk dance, and koto music and take photos with "Samurai Sam" courtesy of The Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum: The Samurai Collection.
